YORK

  York is a city in the north of England. York has a rich viking history. The Vikings called it Jórvik.
York has something about 140,000 inhabitants. The city of York is located in the Vale of York. In York we can find universities - for example University of York, York St. John University, University of Leeds or College of Law. In York we can also find some sights - for  example large Gothic cathedral, Clifford´s Tower, Town Hall, The Shambles (=Masné krámy),...

  I have been in York once - in April 2017 with my school. We have visited lot of places and cities and I must say that York is a place which i liked the most. York has an old British architecture. You can see there old houses, streets, markets and so one. 

  In York we have visited a lot of places. For example the Gothic cathedral. We have been also inside the  cathedral. We also visited The Shambles. There have been butcher shops in the past. Today you can find there shops or tearooms. We have also visited chocolate factory where we could eat some 
chocolate. 

 To sum up, York is a beautiful city and i really enjoyed the time i have spent there.
